Beale & BBQ in Memphis was our last stop on our way home. Thanks to all of you who offered your floors, couches, dinner tables, etc. We couldn't have done it without you. After about 6,000 miles and a few dozen s'mores, I'd say all in all the summer was a huge success. Peace out for awhile.

Don't Mess With Tex
The 22 hour car ride from LA to San Antonio isn't as exciting as it sounds, but we made it...barely. Anyways, we stayed with my awesome grandparents who took us touring through caves and riverwalking. We also visited with my amazing 101 year old grandmother, remembered the Alamo, sang some Irish jigs, and ate some TexMex. Everything really is bigger and better in Texas. Now...homeward bound.

Tight Assets
On the way to Cape May...I mean Long Beach, we found a fire museum! And some all-stars and short busses. Our great family friends, Gil & Chan invited us into their beautiful Signal Hill home/museum. They showed us around town and we spent a day at Huntington Beach. On our way out we stopped in Laguna Beach to see LC. Now on our way to Hollywood...

Where My Beaches At?
Hello LA. When we got to LA we met up with my brother from another mother, Dan & his buddy Jarred. We spent the day in Venice Beach listening to street performers, watching local artists craft their crafts, eating boardwalk food and laying in the sun. This was def one of the harder places to walk away from, but we have a lot more LA to see and so the journey continues.
*Shout out to Dan: the fam is so proud of you & we love you!!!
Pismo
We wanted to camp on the beach. We did. With thousands of RVs, dune buggies, 4 wheelers, and SoCal beach folk.
